This is my 120g tank with a few plants. My jardini is alone in the tank because he killed a black shark, and tried to eat my redtailed catfish. Came home from work and the catfish was in his mouth. I also had an albino asian redtailed catfish which was just as mean as the jardini. He had a hand in the death of the shark. The asian and the jardini were starting to feud, so I took the 2 catfish back to the pet shop. Any suggestions on some fish I can add?

Unfortunately Jardini can be psycho when it comes to tankmates. They may tolerate some and destroy others or not tolerate any at all. My jars will tolerate certain fish but not many. A pleco may be all right or may not--trial and error.

There is one cichlid from Australia or Madagascar i'm interested in getting, it's all black and has silver speckles all over, they seem pretty rare, wish I knew the name. I may try the pleco, i'm just hoping it doesn't destroy my plants. Oh yeah my 120g tank is 6ft long, can't remember the rest off hand.

Are you talking about Paratilapia Polleni?
