Do jardinis turn dark like datnoids or pbass when unhappy? Im askin bc i saw a BLACK jardini/really dark/really stressed but he was swimming fine at a lfs...didnt notice it til another customer was asking wat the price was and its probably gone now....sadly no pics didnt seem rite taking out the fone to take a pic when evry1 was all focused on it....ino some lfs hate it

i believe they do change a bit their coloration, not sure why...

Im not a newbie to arows...it wasnt just a little darker. It was black pretty much for most of its body

jardini are going to take on the colors of the background and bottom of the tank, and really depends on diet i would say, my jar does not change darker when stressed neither did my previous 2 jardini, i dont know what to say mine is darker than most ive seen ....maybe its special, maybe a pro will answer this question , we will see
post some pics if you can , id love to see a black jar

i think its about lightning they're in, my LFS proved that to me
the lights were quite bright in the tank and they looked like normal flourescent ones
