Jardini Spotting?

Hi guys,

This is my first post on the arrowana side, and I have a couple of questions. Do Jardinis gain spotting in their fins as they grow? Does quality of food affect the amount of spotting?

I bought a six incher today, and he has a very limited amount. He has only a few, on the trailing edge of his dorsal and anal, and at the base of his tail.

nope the spots they have now is it, as adults their tail turns dark with the gold spots n body turns a copper color
