Jardini strange eating?

Is it wierd that my jardini is eating algae wafers? It's not like he's starving or anything because I feed massivore pellets everyday. I doubt it but are there any possible health problems?

its fine... my first arowana only ate feeder fish and algae waffers also.. hikari brand only, refused everything else.. even mealworms

prolly good to get some plant matter in it's diet.

had a couple of aros that did the same thing, i thought it was weird but didn't think anything of it, figured it was fine. they grew out healthy.

Haha it's probably extra supplement. I guess it's not harmful. So no worries
