well i got a tank from a friend... its a 55-gallon.... 48x13x20, and i got a 11" JAR along with it. i know that the JAR can turn around with ease in this tank for now, but how long will it take until it will be a problem for him to turn around???? like how many inches will he be when it will be a problem??? he is alone in the 55-G BTW!!!!

thanks

Get him a bigger tank now! Or rehome him. This fellas grow 3-4 feet and need a minimum footprint of 8x4ft at that size. Best to buy big now, then having to keep upgrading.

3-4 feet:screwy: Jardinis grow to 30" at best. Not sure how fast Jars grow, but figure within a couple months it will need to be in a bigger tank, by itself. Are you thinking of keeping the jar?

If it's 20" wide it could stay in ther probably a few more months, but if its 13" wide you are going to need a bigger tank right now. IMO the min tank size to keep a Jardini in for life is 6x2.5Wx2;)

i agreee.

ok thanks.

the bigger the better ;)
