I need a little help, I just put a 9" jardini in my 225 with (3) 5-7" indo dats and a 7" kelberi peacock bass. The jardini is only supposed to be in my tank 2-3 months until my friends 400 gallon cycles. But the dats and P bass are beating him up. I can put him in a 110 with (2) smaller indos and a couple of severums. Should I wait a day or so to let the fish see if they get along or move the jar? This isn't my fish and I don't want him tore up. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. The one thing I forgot to mention is my severums are 8-9" and they do nip each others fins. I don't want them to do this to the jar and start spooking him.

Jardini are very prone to attacks at that size I would house it alone for now , once it hits 12"+ it will smash up any of those tankmates and the tables will turn

dont move him just keep in the tank he is in now and put up
a divider to keep separated. you make make shift dividers with
egg crates from home depot or your lhs. this way none of the
fish yours or your friend's will risk injury. or if you have a big sump
with room in it to house the jardini you can move there.

Great advice tomojsg!! I've kept him there and he isn't getting attacked any more but he isn't eating either. I even put some feeders in for him and nothing yet. I'll put the egg crates up tomorrow. Thanks

no problem. dont worry aros can go a while without eating and at 9" a couple/few days isnt a
big deal.
