i just recently purchased my own jardini and i give her bloobworms. my bf has his own and feed his aro with hikari pellets, bloodworms, shrimps. i guess it's better to give ur jardini pellets coz feeders (live) might carry parasites.
IMHO the best diet for any animal is as varied as possible. I never feed feeder fish because of the chance the feeders will transmit diseases to my fish (they're also fish so will be affected by the same diseases) and might increase aggression in my comm (tankmates will be seen as a source of food).
I feed my aros live shrimp, prepared shrimp, fish fillets, superworms, earthworms, crickets, feeder frogs and pellets.
For small aros all the above will apply in a cut up form, except for the frogs..
I lost my first aro because of diseased feeders. While I was treating it, I dropped the filters in my pbass tank (stupid thing to do). I lost the entire tank of pbass too.
