From my experience i use to have a jar with 2 spotted gars. Got along fine for a couple of weeks then one morning the gars were dead. So a definite no no from me.
size matters!! =) if your jar is bigger than your gar then your gar would be wasted by the jar
but if your gar i bigger than the jar then its the other way round =P
