i agree with getting your pleco out...their a pain in the butt with all the other bottom dwellers...you never know, rays are one of the more robust kinds of fishes in water world...but you never know until you try...see if it works then monitor your jardini's behavior with the new occupant in the tank and if you spot any kind of aggression to the ray or anything else remove it or if you don't you have to either remove the pleco, or the jardini, or the ray or everything an leave it to the jardini
