Hi everyone,
Ok so I recently bought a a jardini online, which I will never do again. He came with mouth fungus, white poop, and probably swimming bladder. The seller said it was due to shipping stress, but I know all that does not occur overnight. It takes time for bacteria, especially internal bacteria to develop.
Anyways, I'm posting here to show his recovery process hopefully.
I am currently treating him with melafix and pimafix in a 10 gallon tank. It's only been two days. I did a 20% water change before I started the treatment. Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciative.
Here's some pics and a short video. DSC00040.JPGDSC00025.JPGDSC00020.JPGDSC00022.JPG

The jardini iseems to be recovering nicely. Adding salt really improved and stabilized his condition. He still has a little curve, but it's a lot better now than when I got him. He's still not eating, but at least he's looking at the food again. I guess he doesn't like peas. He still has mouth fungus and white poop. Hopefully it will be gone in a day or two. Over the weekend I noticed the jardini's swimming bladder is just as bad as ever. He just got better at dealing with the problem. His poop is getting darker though, and there's even some brown section followed by a string of white poop. I guess that's a sign of improvement.
I'm thinking of changing medication. I just got Ponds Fungus Eliminator. I'm going to start using it tomorrow after I do a partial water change. I'll post up new pix when I can.

I'm not sure what happened, but the jardini is now worse than ever. I think the new meds is killing him. He is now heads up and always gasping for air. I did a 50% water change and added a small rock of salt. I will go back to melafix and pimafix tomorrow if he lives through the night. Seeing the jardini reminds me of the last fish I had who died from swimming bladder. It was also a fish I just bought online. Yep. This time it's shame on me. I will post pix tomorrow.

Sorry for your loss. Just some advice, next time, lets say you have a sick Arowana, post the issue in the Arowana forum. The disease section often times gets ignored.. Again, sorry for your loss.
