Jardini Yawning

My 3 inch jardin yawns a lot. Plz don't tell me that it feels sleepy. Has anyone experience the same. Is it normal. No sign of disease or infected gills.

I believe it is normal because I have seen both jardinis and silvers that I have own before do it, so I wouldn't trip about anything. If u notice some infection on his gills that something else and idk what to say right there

Mine would do that when he saw me with his food, it was like getting jaws ready, he also did that to intimidate his tank mates, now he has no mates, either killed or ate them, or relocated to a more peaceful tank.

Definitely hungry..first time i've heard of a jardini do that.. seen my silvers do it.. what is your feeding schedule like?

Now when my jar is single, she prefers hidding beneath the drift wood.

Yawning is perfectly normal... my jar does it even after he is belly full... yes kaya just like silvers jars do it as well.... i think its more of stretching or intimidation thing nothing to worry about... infact ive seen my texas, giant gaurami and green terror do this as well...
