I need alot of info for a jardini. Like growth rate, food and anything hint u guys have.

Quick growers up to 18" (1-2" per month) then they slow down. They'll eat what most big cichlids eat. Shrimp, smelt, pellets, etc. They're mean as hell (typically). They'll encourage you to use the search feature and look at the arowana section:)

-eats pretty much anythin, but preferable if get it on pellets
-really really aggressive
-gets to 3' in wild but 2'+ captive
-tank dimensions 6' x 2'
-grows bout 1'' per month till 18''
-temp 80F +

growth rate is like 1" a month or 1.5" and you can feed it mealworms,MP,FD krills, crickets, pellets(suggested pellets or krills),they are aggressive unless your lucky like me and get a peaceful 1 and need 6x2x2 as minimum for life but bigger the better like 72x30x24 or bigger

- 6x2 bear minimum
- hungry but fussy eaters
- very agro ( mine ripped golf ball sized chunks out of a frontoza)
- wonderfull personallity very entertaining as will hand feed easily ( some times to easily :owned::owned:)

I agree with everything people have said except the 1-1.5 inches a month up to 18inches. From my experience with 3 different Jardini's, they grow extremely quick, 1-1.5 inches a month up till about 12-13 inches, then the growth rate slows way down no matter how much you feed it.
