quick question.. i feed my jar a mixture of food. but lately been feding it frozen silversides.. it eats it. just wanted to know if its ok for my jar.

Jar 12 inch.

spotted gar 12 inch.

spotted jar 8 inch.

African chiclid 5 inch.

Try to get some Hikari aro sticks, mealworms, and market shrimp.

talking about changing diet. i tried to convert my jardini to eating pellet and it go suicidal on me. i starve it for 2 days and then it keep on mistakening stuff out on the surface as food and it keep on jumping out and hitting the glass canopy. i woke up and he got a scar on his for head so i decided to wait later until he is around 15 inch. as soon as he gets to 8-10 inch iamma try chicken liver.

My Jardini is fed Hikari pellets mixed with Spirulina in the morning. Then beefheart, fish fillet, crickets, earthworms, superworms, yabbies or community frozen food in the afternoon. No feeder fish is fed.

not babies, if they are to young starving that long can kill them, best to wait to starve onto pellets.
