I just couldnt resist so I went to the pet store and got him today

Other than a few scratches on one side from the silver arowana it was in with its in perfect condition

Yeah I spent 4 days researching it the only reason I said I had to have it is because I was debating about it for a while and decided to take a chance, Ill also be watching my fish practically 24/7 for a while but so far no signs of agression if anything the bichir keeps nudging both the aros around haha. From what iv read jardinis can also be quite docile.

Ya i think its bull what people say about fish not liking a certain other kind of fish lol. it all depends on the one fish you know

yea... ive noticed a lot of aggro with jars, especially the baby jars at my lfs. but hopefully yours will be docile.
