I was wondering if any of you MFK's house more than 1 Jardini in a tank? I am building a 360 gallon acrylic tank (96X36X24) and looking into getting a few but haven't really heard of anyone having more than 1 in a single tank. I know they are aggressive (especially after reaching 10" or so).

Any thoughts or suggestions?

as of in the mfk community, i dont think anyone keeps to jars together... generally a bad idea considering how they can be aggro, but not all of them are like that. ive seen pics of a public aquarium in japan that has a comm of about 20+ jars and leis. but yeah, if you really want to try it go for just, just make sure you know the consequences later on ;)

best of luck.

And kojis thread awhile back. Didn't work

My friend tried doing an 8 Jardini community, but he failed. One of the Jardini dominated the other 7 Jardini. I've only seen pictures of 2 succesful Australian Aro community-one person on Arofanatic-2 Jardini and public aquarium in Japan with monster sized Leichardti and Jardinis.

Jars are warriors, my 5 inch flowerhorn was ripped by my 7 inch jar, bad idea to put them together, i have to buy another tank to put in my FH.. Jar is very nasty and always provoking

Plenty of bumps on the old jardini threads today I see lol , it's possible to house two jars but you've got to get very lucky as most won't tolerate other aros or even tank mates that pose as a threat , it's always a gamble with jardini ;)

I wouldn't try it. I couldn't keep mine with a pleco that stayed under the driftwood constantly. My jar eventually caught the pleco when it swam into the open. That was the last time I attempted to keep anything with it.
