Hi all Im new to this arowana thing and was wondering how your guys jardinis turned out?? Also I was wondering if I got a good deal on a jardini. The color is some what light/greenish/gray and is about 5in and I got it for $45. Is this a good deal??

Great deal. Post some photos.

so i was wondering for that size, what color is it suppose to be, reason being is because its not as dark compared to the ones I see. The color looks grayish almost some what green but you can still see the spots but not as bright.

That's a good price for a 5 inch jar. In my area they go for about $80 for that size. They are usually light until they get bigger. But it also depends on the jar itself. Some are light and some are dark.

depens on the tank it was being kept in what color background and substarte

Does he look like the first pic? They seem to develop more color as they grow. As one of the posters said,--some are light colored some are dark.

So the darker the background/gravel the more darker it will be?? Reason being is that he is going to be held in a tank with no background and with sand??
