I paid $100 for a 12" one about three years ago. But it also depends on the jars temperament as well. Are you willing to keep the jar in a single tank or risk losing fish? I personally wouldnt pay more then $150 for a clean jar.

i sold my 12+" jar for $20 just to get rid of him cuz he killed or attacked everything in the tank. he was with his tankmates for over a year before he decided to kill and attack everyone. i just didn't want a solo fish in the tank.

Lol same here but I still have my beast !! All that space for ONE fish. After they reach a certain size they just kill everything in the tank

I had a 18-20" jar a few years back and sold it for $260. Jardini aro in my location are hard to come by so prices be high. Some guy from Washington DC drove all the way to Philadelphia to buy it. Was a nice jar...had it with silvers and other large fishes, not a bully. I kind of regret selling it because now that i want one the LFS are asking $250 for a 6-8" one :(
