My jardini is about 13-14 inches and is still skittish I'm so over it any ways to calm him down.

+1, I had mine in a too small tank for a couple months and he was pretty skiddish, since putting him in a 180, he is as laid back as could be.

Mine is in a 180g it is close to my bed tho so that's probs why.

Floating plants ? Tankmates ? Lights these are all to be taken into account with jars , and obviously tank size , I've found that changing one of my lights to floral grow from bright white and adding a few lillys or floating weeds helps calm them and reduce drop eye
