Average 24" and upto 30", and tank mates are in danger of being killed when the Jar begins to mature

From what i have beent old, a 30'' tank width is good, with 36'' being best, and a length of 6ft.

Thats about 225 gallons...

I have a little guy with some pacu and cats... Their doing pretty good so far... He chases the pacu around a bit but their big enough to take the abuse... he never touches the tsn or my hybrid though... And i've never even seen him touch my id shark (mid water swimmer.) But he loves chasing around my two pacu...

almost every jardini around 10-12" mark will start killing tankmates

AwolAngler how big is your jar??

6-7 inches... He seems to school the pacu... as soon as they don't do what he wants he nips at them... it's kinda funny, but a little sad... I already took out a red tiger oscar that used to think he was boss... The jar wasn't having it and eventually took a chunk out of the O' and the oscar cought ick... I since healed him and he's in jail until the Jardini gets a little larger. I have since rearranged the tank hoping that if I do reintroduce the oscar back in that he will except the Jardini's command and the aggression will stop. But I'm thinking I may just get rid of the O'. There only in a 90g right now... but i plan on making them an out door pond next summer... haven't decided if it will be insulated and heated for the winter or if there will be separate holding tanks for the fish in the basement for the winter... but I'm not going to start the project now just for the O', and I might end up keeping the jar indoors in a 180 alone....

sorry didn't mean to derail
