whats the best diet to get a jar to show its best color?
this is what i feed his future tank mates cut fish, krilland hikari carnivor pellets
will this get max gold and pink

I crush new life spectrum and soak it in water then mix it with ground beef heart, prawn, and fish. After I mix it up I freeze it then cut it up. I notice my black grew fast last month and develop a nice blue shine to her scales.

Hikari aro foodsticks, mealworms, earthworms, krill, anchovies once a month, market shrimp with no shells when aro is small, full market shrimp with tail and shell for bigger aros. I feed all of my asians this combo and my colours turned out pretty good.

super/meal/blood worm and krills,market prawns,pellets

cut it up pull veins, head, tail off 1st

yea cut it real small and pull of the 3 things

The best food to color it up. Feed it with prawn that still have the shell on. The shell of the prawn makes contain more carotene than the meat itself. I actually just remove the horn and the little pointy thing at the end of the tail just to be on the safer side.

For a 2" jardini feed it with krills. I would recommend feeding it with varied diet such as hokari floating stick, cut prawn or shrimps, mealworms/superworms that been feed with carrots so the aros would get also absorb the carotene that the worm ate.
