the jaridnii is currently 13inch max 14inch, but more so 13 inch
i would put him in by himself.
temporary for 6 months to 7 months in a tank 4ftx1.5 ftx1.5ft or in 122cmx47cmx47cm

he will hve enough room to turn with out doing a three point turn
but temporary
i have never put an aro this size n this,
wil it go insane and kill itself?
cos its smaller than its current home
?
remember, this will be temporary - 6to 7 months at most

i wouldnt ...but, i guess sometimes you "have to do, what you have to do" :)

do you have this temp. tank already?

jars when put in small tanks tend to go berserk and skittish and it may hurt itself
try adding some cushioning to the hood
so that he doesn't injure himself

good luck
and i hope everything goes well for you

i hope it doesn't get to 18" in that time. if it does, it will be really stuffed, IMO

i have had my 12" jar in a 4 ft x 1 and 1/2 wide and 2 ft high for 6 months with 3 other predators and he has been fine. he is moving next week into his much larger tank. as long as its temporary and you keep him well fed to reduce stress and aggression i think its cool as man.
