Here is a thought, and what i have tried
1 putting 2x 14 inch plus tigerdats with a jardinii in a estblished tank.
The jardinii first didnt wanna go near them, then got curious. Then fought with them. Jardinii had some wounds too co i think the dats got defensive and struck.
The jardinii is currently with 2 large tinfoil barbbs, 2 silver dollars, a small spotted netynis and a smallish flagtail.
The jardiniidoesnt harass them or hurt them. If they swim aorund feeding too close to it and the jar just kinds gets annoyed but doesnt actually attack just kinds hudges them to go away.
2) The 2x 14 inch dats plus a 12 inch giant gourami and a 10 inch oscar and a 8 inch angelicus syndontis is housed together.
what would happen if i put the jardinii into the tankwith the dats and gg and oscar.
Will it get aggressive towards the others? even if its the new comer?
has anyone tried this?
In my country, not enough people have jardiniis to have tried this method.
I am eager to have the jardinii in a tank of monsters.
3) If i dont do this, what are the chances that a giant gourami, about 1 to 1.5 inches smaller than the jar. be ok in the jar tank? with the other fishies with the jardinii right now? currently there is a ish for sale here. Large GG, a grey one, it seems to be aggressive.if you put your finger on the glass it tries to bite you. If i put that one in the tank with the jar, whats the chances it would work?
