jardinni... how to keep them in community tank

any suggestion on how to keep them in community tank? got 6 datnoids and 8 bichirs with him. my 9" bichir is starting to get scared on how he looks at them. he is around 14". love the jardinni since the color and nice scale but at the same time i don't want to loose fishes due to a bad decision.

well Rich; IMO there is nothing you can really do to any kind of fish; especially with Jars. In my experience with these guys they are very unpredictable; I suggest you keep an eye out though. Like I told you I too had a really nice Jar; ask Vien at first it was very calm and was cool with the rest of his tank mates then just went crazy and went after all the other fish. Not to jinx or discourage you or anything, just make sure you watch him. I used to have a 10" jar with my dats and my CK one day got home from work the CK was all messed up; I ended up giving up the CK. Then I noticed that it started going after my dats; so that was that got rid of the Jar, but you never know GL

Yeah be very careful and keep watch of the Jar. I have one that is 12 inches and he just picks fights with my RCK that is 15 inches. Funny thing is that I also have three TSN's that are 12-15 inches as well and the Jar doesn't even bother with them only my RCK. So be very careful and good luck!

Jardini can be hit and miss more hit I have had 2 in the past and both have been gits it cause havoc in a 5x2x2 I had at the time every thing was happy in there and he was the smallest fish take a look at this old link
