Java Fern and Anubius low light

Hey guys. My 125g will be planted with Java Fern and anubius. I have 2 24" 6500k 18w t8.bulbs in 2 36" fixtures. These plants being low light, will they grow well under these lights?

I had been thinking of getting 2 planted plus lights, but my previous one gave me too much algae. Won't be doing co2 other than some excel. So I'm thinking of just trying these bulbs in the stock lighting hoods. Thanks

Although this certainly isn't high lighting, the plants should be fine. Mind you, they will probably grow slower than they would in a higher light set up. However, Anubias and Java Fern don't require a ton of light to grow. Also, the addition of Excel will help them out.

glutaraldehyde /metricide might be more economical than excel for a 125 gal. dosing 3ml glutaraldehyde per 50gal would give you roughly the same amount as excel's 5ml per 50 gal
