JBJ Canisters with built in UV?

The UV light on them is 5W…

Even the smallest one moves water too fast for this UV to help with anything except green water… I run my UVs at about 10 gph per 1W of UV…

I have one with the 8 watts bulb and it works fine for small tanks. Beware that the replacement bulb cost a lot. I would say anything under 60 gallon is ideal. Another plus is that this can be use as a spare filter on your breeder tank if you ever need a backup filter. It has an adjustable flow leveler to slow the water flow down. It's quiet and looks like it works because I don't have algae issue. If you have a big tank then save your money for the Corallife unit.

Oops....nevermind. I got this JBJ UV Filter instead.
