I am trying to get my JD's to spawn. I have a mirror taped to the aquarium, and I have two other fish in there to be chased away by the parents. I am feeding them 3x a day Earth worms, Hikari gold, blood worms. and omega one. Temp is around 82 and I do water changes every other day. Is this enough???

In your tank make sure to have a nice sized cave for them to hide in. also have a big flat rock on an angle for the female to deposit her eggs...I alway kept my temp at 75 and had success when I would do a big water change, turn my heater up to 80 and add water back into the tank that was around 78 degrees...they always seemed to get busy right after that...

So should I lower my temp and try again??? What size do they have to be before the start breeding??? My male is about 4 or 5 and the female is about 3in.

not 100% sure on that...mine were: 8" male and 7" female....3" seems a little small...and I think 82 is a little too warm for JD's...should be around 75-77...
