I have 2 at about 6-7" and im pretty sure on is a female and a male but dont really know how do you sex them?
but both have great color so i thought that it might be cool to see if i can get babies...

Any special set info who also be great
 
females have almost like a beard of color on their gill plate, male dont. I have breed jack Dempseys before. Very easy!
 
the pictures are bad but thats cus i took then off the cell phone i got to ge batteries for the camera. so mayb you guys can tell with this for now and ill update asap.
this one is really light gray with bright blue

Im keeping dempseys right now and im pretty positive the first pic is male, 2nd is female cuz the male doesnt have much color on gills and the 2nd dempsey has a whole bunch of blue nd such
 
yh they are male and female, i just picked a female for my male but shes only 3inch and the male is 4-5inch so they are in different tanks, as for tank put flat rocks and flower pots scattered around the tank, feed good food-live ir frozen and up your temp and w/c watch the agrresion between them tho
 
Thanks for the info Ill set something up for them this weekend and we'll see how it plays out. What should I look for as far as acceptance in a pair-they dance lock lips or juct hang out all the time lol...?Any ideals on triggers
