willj ds breed indefinately if a male and female is present in a cichlid community tank? i have 2 males and 1 female. i think im going to gettt rid of the bigger male (hes a bully) and see if the remaining 2 go for it. they are both about 4 or 5 inches. any input will b hellpful seeing i never bred cichlids b4

Hi :)
(NO) JD's won't breed indefinitely, but your chances are better if you remove the bully. Also how big is the community tank & what other fish do you have with them. The more information you provide the better members can help you.

i have a 150 gallon aquarium with the 3 jds, a firemouth, salvini, texas, jag, ornate bichir and a pleco. none of the other cichlids or the bichir is over 3"

Like I said before (Remove the bully) & see if the JD's pair up. But the bigger JD isn't the only problem. You have a pretty aggressive group of tank mates. They all sound great, but will definitely outgrow & kill your JD's. I would move the 2x JD's into a 40 or 60 Gallon breeder & leave the bigger tank alone.
