JD FROM WALMART!!!!

Just went to walmart to get some chemicals and saw they had a jack dempsey in an assorted south american tank. we told the old guy that worked there that it was a blue gourami and we got it for 2.44!!! Saved a JD and got it cheap how bout that! For now he is in a 30 long growout tank until he is big enough to go in the 100 gallon. he is about 2 inches long and seems to be very healthy for a walmart fish

haha yea i asked him about another fish and he said "i dont have a clue, i havnt been to this side in a while"....but its a startup tank so no need to quarantine it. i wil try to get pics up in a little bit when he gets acclimated

Saved yourself some cents! cool! I had a friend that worked at Wal-mart that helped me buy oscars and africans for .12 cents because he wrote the UPC of the feeder goldfish on the bag.

haha bad ass...yea we were lookin to see how to do it with the self check out and writing a feeder guppy price upc down but we decided to not be that immoral...but the little guy seems to be doing good even though the water is a lil cold right now at 76

I bought some JDs from walmart when i was just getting into the hobby. Bought 5 kept the largest nicest male and a 2 females waited till a pair formed sold the female. I had a blast with those fish. Just couldn't make them stop breeding
