First time breeding! so pumped! I could sit and watch them herd/protect the fry all day Been reading up on this for the past few weeks and so far everything has worked out like ive hoped

In a 29 gallon grow out right now, wasnt expecting them to breed so quickly, but I will be moving them to a 55 shortly

wow good job! spawn is looking nice. I would cover the intake of the filter with a sponge or something to keep the fry from getting sucked in.

Yea, about 5 minutes after filming this I saw one get sucked up and quickly fashioned a cover for the intake out of a filter sponge

I breed jacks. Haven't had a lot of luck saving many fry yet, but I haven't tried too hard so far. Gotta get the rest of my tanks up and running so that I have room before I can try much to save the fry.
