Hey guys, a few of you helped me sex my JD a while back as male, just thought I'd post a few progress pics, must be around 5 months now since I got him, he's grown from about an inch to 3.5 inches

Thanks :) hoping I can grow him nice and big for when I move him down the line. Currently in a 55 with dimensions 40"x18" x18", so he should have ample opportunity :)

Is that based on the jaw colouring? Cause I'll admit, recently I've had my suspicions myself. My convict is a male...urgghh I hope there is no pairing. Anyone else have thoughts on the sex?

Female. And yes, because of coloring on jaw. Males only have spangles to their eyes. Female has it all the way to mouth. Here's a pic of my femaleuploadfromtaptalk1402248859931.jpguploadfromtaptalk1402248878836.jpg

That's a really nice JD :) I tried searching for my thread 5 months back, the spangles were sparse and only underneath the eye, but yeah they've certainly spread out among the whole jaw lol. No matter, I'll get her a male sometime in future :)
