JD in a 55g?

A full grown male jd can go in a 55, right?

I just picked one up and its still just a baby and i want to make sure i can keep it in a 55.

Also is there any tankmates in a 55? Could i keep some senegal birchirs in there with him?

I think that will be fine unless he gets over 12" which should take a while.

No senegal birchirs. You could do some cool plecos and some dithers like rainbows, barbs, and various characins.

those look great in schools IMO
and taste great for a bigger JD =)

1 male in a 55g no problem. As fo the bichers should work as long as you don't have a very aggro jd.
