JD & JAG Male or Female?

I've been told by a few people on here that my Jag is a male; however I only see females that look like my jag. If he's a male, will he eventually get that all speckled look?

Also, any idea what my JD is? Thank you for you help.

Jd is a girl, jag could be male i would sway closer that way.

I agree the JD is female. Heavy blue markings on the gill plates. The jag is a male. Need a better pic. But i can see the spots on his gill plates. The female has a lack of spots on her gill plates.

AAHHHHH, I wish I knew for sure. I want to get another jag in the opposite sex. It would be a whole lot easier if I could just take a look at his junk and make the determination.
