JD -n- silver dollars?

Question MFK will a JD get along with 5 silver dollars?

there in a 90 gal right now plan on upgrading later they are about 1/2 inch want to add small JD so they can grow up together!

They'll probably be fine, I've got a couple Bala Sharks in with my Dempsey's. For the most part they don't even look at them. Every now and then they chase em, but they don't really bother em otherwise. But who knows, I might wake up one day and the JD's went and no more Balas.

balas get larger than JDs so i highly doubt that

and yeah JD and silver dollars should be just fine as long as they are all around the same size and you aren't adding a large JD to small SDs that it could eat

Yes a 90 will be fine when they are small

It will work fine.

SD's are great dithers.
I have kept them with all kinds of cichlids including an umbee.
They need veggies in thier diet (algae wafers, broccoli, etc.)

balas get larger than JDs so i highly doubt that

and yeah JD and silver dollars should be just fine as long as they are all around the same size and you aren't adding a large JD to small SDs that it could eat

Bala's grow slow though compared to what my Dempsey's have grown. I almost chose SD's, but could not find any good quality ones at the time I put my tank together.
