I just bought 2 JD's from the lfs that I get all my fish from. They are 2'' in size.

I have NEVER had an issue with any fish bought from this store. They have top notch fish people, who actually know what they are talking about. I have been buying fish for years here, and not once have I encountered a problem.

I was set on getting an EBJD, but I read that they can be hard to keep etc etc, and that at a small size you need to make sure they eat. I was wondering if this is the same with JD's?

The reason is because one of the JD's eats just fine.. he's eaten shrimp pellets, and cichlid pellets. (the shrimp pellets are for the loaches)

The other JD will grab a piece of cichlid food, chew it up, and then spit it out.

Is it just maybe because he doesn't like it, or should I be concerned? Should I give him some time to come around?
