I have a 100 Gallon tank setup with sand substrate, natural malayasian driftwood, many rocks and hiding places. I have a Red Tiger Oscar, Jack Dempsey (I believe female due to blue gill plating) and a pleco and I was wondering what I could stock in this that would be semi peaceful?

You could add a Green Terror.. but I think your tank will be overstocked with a Green Terror in it. You could also try something smaller like a convict.

See I was thinking green terror but I have read a lot of things about Green Terrors attacking Jack Dempseys. It would be a beautiful addition though.

I have both.. and my Jack Dempseys are pretty aggressive. My male Jack Dempsey is even bossing around my Midas that is a lot bigger then him.
And my Green Terrors also get chased around by the Dempseys.
Usually Green Terrors and Jack Dempseys have the same level of aggression I believe.

Good to hear. I like the idea of both the JD and the GT. My oscar and JD never bicker with eachother and neither of them have tried to bother my pleco. Thanks for the advice!

No problem. But still if you do add the GT, you have to really watch for aggression once they are all reaching adult size. I also think you have to change a lot of water.

Could always add some silver dollars too as they normally get along just fine with oscars.

I currently have a green terror with my 2 oscars and they patrol together which I find both odd and humorous. I dont think it knows its a GT....

I have been thinking of adding a firemouth to my collection BUT I would have to grow it out some before adding it to my main tank. From what I have read and seen a firemouth is not as agressive and the others such as the oscars will leave it alone and the flaring of the throat normally makes one back down should they try
