JD Pair?

I'm starting to have second thoughts about the two rescued JDs being both males. Any thoughts? Male and female? The larger is 8" and the other is 5".

LOL, that's what I thought! Looked like a male to me, just because of the size, but I may have been wrong.

Any tips if I was to try and breed this awkward couple? Temp is at 80.
