Hello! I think I have finally found a pair between my dempseys! I have 6 dempseys and 2 of these are the biggest and are the only ones that turn dark. The biggest one im pretty sure its male cuz it has long sharpy fins and the other 2ng biggest jd has these bluish-greenish dots all over the gill/face area. After looking at many jd threads, i think they are male and female.
Here comes the problem - they dont seem to like each other
I know I cant rush this but i have to give away 4 other dempseys soon. I have a divider in my 55 gallon tank with 4 on the left and the other 2 onto the right. Is there I can do to promote a pair love? The two dempseys that i want to pair are only 2 - 3 inches long each.
