will a full grown cichla ocellaris eat a full grown male jd?, the jd is about 8 inches and 2 years old right now. btw its 4,500 gallons so im not worried bout aggression im worried about predation. Dont ask why i decided to put a JD in a 4,500gallon setup, its long story.

what if ive got a massive breeding colony of convicts in there with em? i have about 50+ right now and growing, will he still eat the jd despite the infinite supply of smaller prey.
