my JD's have been acting weird. they're always chasin g each other and everytime i feed them they dont eat until i leave the room....then once i go back in the room they swim crazy in every direction and hide...then sometimes they'll hide with each other...their are alot of bite marks on the dominate one and few on the other male...should i seperate them???

What size tank? they're both males?

that is strange. I would think that they would get along in a 55. Are there any other tank mates?

you may just have two JDs that aren't gonna get along. it likely won't get better as they mature/get bigger.

just pleco's...i just recently put small id sharks (bout 2in) in there but i was plannin to remove them and put them in another tank but they dont do anythin to them anyways they just swim near the top while the JD's go at it

Check your water parameters. If they are stressed they can act funny.

Also ive noticed JD's can be fine one day then be very skittish the next day.

i'll try that and ya they were fine a couple of days ago now its like a territory war

There may be a water quality issue, I'm not saying that the normal parameters are bad but i had fish act the same way after i added a piece of plastic structure. Once i removed it they stopped dashing around and hiding.
