I have had my jd for 3 months now and senegal bichir for 2 or 3 weeks. i have had the jd eating hikari/omega cichlid pellets and freeze dried bloodworms. the bichir will only eat the pellets, he never goes to surface to get the bloodworms. I went and bought some freeze dried kril and brine shrimp. I first tried a small krill. Jd would take it and spit it out constantly, the bichir didn't even go for it. Next day I tried a very small piece of the brine shrimp. Same results. Do some fish just not like certain foods? Should I just continue with the pellets/blood worms. Or should I somehow force new foods on them? I really want them to like it :(

Its a bit odd, but its not like those are a necessary part of their diet. They will be fine on pellets.

if they are still eating other foods without any issues, then there is no problem, just that they don't like the new food

I think freeze dried krill is something you have to train your fish to eat. I bought some when it was on sale and none of my cichlids will eat it. They take frozen though no prob.
