JD wont eat :(

I bout a pair of JDs on Sunday afternoon, Got them all aclamated to there new 55G tank. But now whenever I walk into the room they both go hide in their log and wont come out for anything. I sprinkled in the food and the go "Hide" behind the door but they dont come out. How do you get them to 1) Not be afraid 2) eat?

If you just got them this is normal, leave them be and let them get use to the new enviroment.

I have been trying for pics but they are realy skidish of me. SHould I still put food in there or just try again in a couple days?

i would hold off for another day or two on the feeding......let them get used to their new space.....then they will start acting "normal"

Was the tank cycled before the JDs were added?


If you want you can add dither fishes in to make them feel more comfortable.
