Ok so i had a thread a week or so ago about what else i could put in my 55 with my big male convict. I decided to pick up this big JD at my lfs. She is about 7-8" long and i think she and my convict are paired off haha I didnt expect this at all partly because i bought the JD thinking it was a male but upon further inspection she has some blue spangling on the bottom of the gill plates, and i think she is just a big female. they rarely leave eachothers sides, there is hardly agression, and lots of fin twitching, tail slapping, and body quivering next to eachother. ill get a video up soon. Its funny. and for those of you who hate hybrids, i dont like them too mch myself and they will all be feeders and possibly a few grown out for my own interest.

Sounds like a pair to me. Alot of my non hybird fry ends up as feeders, gotta do what ya gotta do!
