I Know they're young and may not even be able to tell yet. But by the coloring on them I think they're males, but of course it really could be too early. The tank they're in right now is an older tank and it's scratched badly so I apologize for the bad photos. If they are both males or even female/female or male/female, should I just stick with one and take the other to the LFS? I was given these two by a friend a couple months ago who bought them not realizing that they get to be pretty big and need a large tank (thanks to the petsmart person just selling him them without a single word about what type of fish they are)

If I had to guess I would say 2 males, but it'll be easier to guess once the start maturing.

Female will have more colorations on face (solid lines on lower jaw etc)
Male less on face, more on body.

Yea I also wanna say males but might be 2 young

They look to be both females - second one definitely is, the first is a little tougher to tell. You can sometimes tell by the fins, but inbreeding has been making all fins look similar. They both have colouration too far down their faces to be male though IMO
