i wouldnt try it but if u want just keep an eye on them and it depends on the size of the tank and how big the africans are

My africans have always picked apart my ca/sa cichlids to death. The only ones I have had success with are convicts.

i wouldnt do it just because i think its a bad idea to mix sa/ca american cichlids with african cichlids
