All look good. Congrats...

Nice :)

Nope, actually took out the tank mates... A giant Bumblebee catfish and a large sailfin pleco... only thing in there when they breed was 2 albino bristlenose pleco's @ 1.25"

They hunted and ate all the baby convicts i had put in the tank before spawning... I did a water change last week... tank is clean but dirty... I can see (since taking the pleco out) little white worms tunneling thru the algae buildup on the back glass.

They are fed massivore and bio-gold sinking, hikari frozen blood worms as a treat.

I had to take the male out last night as she was relentless in to beating him and had damaged one of his pelvic fins.

Ya i have Jds they have had 3 times and are about to have them again and all i did was take them out and put them by them selves......But congratz:)

Little update...
Had to separate the parents, Mom is bigger then dad and was really giving him a bad beating.

I waited and compared and while i am a little disappointed I have gained so much more knowledge for the next step...

As far as i can tell they are all regular JD's in appearance, Every day i hoped for that baby blue but to no avail...

I will be growing them out, the strong are taking care of the weak, no unexpected deaths... they are eating frozen blood worms now and it's a hoot to watch them go at it in the tug of war matches...
