jd's fighting????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there are always chances of this when a new fish is introduced. How big are the fish in question?

You could try to rearrange the decor, or possibly remove the 2nd JD are re-introduce him during the night after the lights have been off for a few hours. Jacks are known to be bullies (hence the name) what size are both? Male/male?

it could be possible that you purchased a female and their courting but most likely its two males establishing dominance if the fighting continues or gets worse over the next couple of days seperate them

Also depends how big the tank is, if it is too small, that might be part of the reason they keep fighting

i've had trouble with getting JDs to get along but it can be done in a large enough tank

Try rearanging the decor to give them hideing spots try to determin if one if female and the other is male or what sex they are

In that case i would seperate them or make sure you have a very large tank around 6-7 feet long
