I'm quite interested in jack dempseys and green terrors, but which would be more fun and easier to get a breeding pair if I bought say 3-4 juveniles? Stocking my 100 gallon tank.
I was leaning towards the GT's, just wanted to see what people thought..... If i do decided to go with them and say i lucked out and got 2 pairs of GT's, would 100gallons be too small for both pairs?
u could try it, but personally i wouldn't its not really a question of if it happens but more so of when it happens, but i promise you that u will enjoy a pair of gt's they are great fish and i love mine he is such a pig full of personality too!
they are still messy but not as bad as oscars, just keep up ur wc's and maybe add some scavengers (i have abunch of corys) and that will help with the leftovers
Most new world cichlids are very messy eaters. I agree with going for the GTs here. You don't see too many GTs between 10"-12", but when you do, they certainly are a site.
