I will start by saying I know these pumps are get what you pay for however there are some good reviews on them and they pump a ton of water... Until yesterday if stopped working. I get an Error Number 05 on the control unit. Wondering if anyone has one of these pumps and wondering if they ever got a similar error and how to fix. I does feel like there is power to the pump but nothing is working. I don't have a clue what the errors mean nor does Jebao give you a method to figure it out...so here I am

I’ve used my pump for over a year now never had a problem. I’ve disconnect the power supply at least twice a week for waterchange purposes and the pump has been going strong as day one. Although I’ve had problems with the control panel on one of the jebao pumps, Amazon covered it immediately

Have you tried to put the pump on lower flow? Try set it to minimum and see if that works. If not contact the seller and see if they have had any other buyers with the same problem

Ive never used that pump but after reading the error message you posted it says. Abnormal input voltage, I would put my money on the power supply. Take a look at what it calls for,and buy a replacement off amazon. I just had to do this for a fluval led.. fluval wanted 50 bucks, I found one for 15...

Thanks for this. So do you mean the power box from the wall?

The power supply converts the Ac voltage from your outlet to the dc voltage that your return pump requires. They can go bad, and send the incorrect voltage. Take a picture of the writing on your and post it up and I’ll help you I d the correct one.

Appreciate that . I will do. I am sort of wondering after every thing I have read whether I should just ditch this thing and go with a Current USA or something.

I just tried looking for a replacement power supply and found a bunch but didn’t see one in your specs. You’ll need to find one that’s 36vdc 7.0a.

I've had 3 controller failures in the last 9 months, even on a UPS. They do pump a bunch of water and are quiet, but I would not recommend if a failure would cause you problems. Also customer support is non existent, and the supposed online capability doesn't work.
