Hi Everyone,

First post. Just got these guys from Jeff Rapps. Ordered 6 and he sent 7. Been wanting to get Midas cichlids for a long time, but could never find any that weren't hybrids. I had a 12" white Midas Cichlid several years ago that I lost due to a "feeding accident". Have been wanting to get another ever since. These will be going into a 90g for the time being.
Can't wait to see what they will grow into.

How are these doing?

Doing great. Out of the original 7 fish that Jeff sent, I ended up with three breeding pairs and one extra female. Kept one pair for myself, and gave away the others to friends. The male I kept is about 9" long now and the female is about 5". They breed regularly, and I end up with 150-200 fry that I usually end up giving away. Great fish, but don't seem to be quite as aggressive as other Midas I have kept in the past

That's great, any pics?

Wow! They're beautiful...! Makes me rethink my plan to get creamsicle. They're stunning looking fish. Were the others this good looking? Is this breading colours, or do they normally look like this?

What size tank are they in now please?

Sorry, too many questions...
